Hey guys,

F-Toys has just released a new range out here, if anyone is interested please let me know. They cost 600 JPY per box and I will charge a small handling fee, happy to ship anywhere in the world.

Please understand however that I have no idea what are in the boxes - so its a case of lucky dip!

I posted it here as I was under the impression that the Dawn of War thread was for 1/144 scale aircraft ;)

Nicolas,

What scale would you like? I can have a look in the local stores for you as they do have a few different scales available from other brands.

So...
-Three different A6M2-21's
-One A6M5-52
-One B5N2/Navy Type 97
-One F6F-5
-One SBD

Like all "gashapon", these are blind-packs, you don't know what you have until you buy and open it. I found with such things you get better results buying in case-lots...

OK, the first two characters on the right say "eternal"; the next character appears to be the hiragana "no"; and the last is a 0; so this is related in some way to the "Eternal Zero" film which came out a while ago: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Eternal_Zero .

The text next to each fighter is just too small to accurately translate what each model is; I can parse the first three are Model 21 Zeros, and the fourth is a Model 52; the fifth is a Type 97 Model 3 (B5N2); the US planes are obvious. :)

Chris for the record, the release has nothing to do the the Ghibli movie (Well nothing official ;) ) and many in the series are re-releases of previous models with a couple extra to keep the collectors coming back.

Anyway I thought I would post it in case anyone wanted me to get them for them rather than paying the crazy prices ebay and other sites sell them at.

As for translation, should have asked could of told you and saved you the hassle ;)

Good info. I have this set already and have built 4 of them. I wish I knew about these when I was stationed on Okinawa back in the 80's. Was more into tanks (1/72 and 1/76) so have quite a few of them.

Strange, then, that it uses the same title, down to the choice of fonts for the kanji.... ;)

Like I said nothing official , there is no branding or characters on the box apart from the Kanji
