Inviting Friends

Is there a way to invite friends to the website through the website? A friend invite or something.

Steve, there are two ways to do this.

First one:

Click on the User CP link at the top of the page. In the new window that opens up, on the left hand side you will see a link at the bottom of the first box that says "Your Referral Link". Click on that. It will open the forum to the main index page. Now cut and past the URL from your browser into an email to your friend.

Second one:

Same basic procedures as the first one, but you can access it from your profile (click on your username at the top right of the page). Go to the Statistic tab and you will find the link (and other referral info) at the bottom of the page.

I know neither of these is very user friendly or easy, but it is what it is.

On a better note, you can simply tell your friend your username and there is a place they can enter it when they register with the site.
