I have created this thread for those of you who wish to showcase a collection of the different aircraft that a particular ace used during his career.
When you post make sure you put the aces details in the title box.

I don't have pics, but Udet also flew an Aviatik B.I (in Feld Flieger-Abteilung 206) and an Albatros D.III (in Jasta 15 & Jasta 37). In was in a D.III that he had his famous encounter with Guynemer (flying a SPAD VII).

Here's one interpretation of a D.III flown by Udet in 1917 while attached to Jasta 37:

Carlo, according to the Volume 18, Number 3 issue of Over the Front, there are at least two other Albatros D V flown by Udet. One is similar to the black one you have, but with a wood fuselage and metal colored front panels. The second one is entirely colored in silbergrau (silver-grey?) except for the horizontal tailplane which has black and white stripes. Sorry to add to your work.

You can see a beautiful painting of Udet's wooden Albatros on Russell Smith's website here. (http://www.russellsmithart.com/Small%20pages/On%20Morning's%20Golden%20Wings.html)

Yes, like that one.

You have gotten me interested in the aircraft of Willy Coppens.
