Starting out in 1/144

I have slowly started into 1/144 - ordered some f-toys bf-109s and 2 hurricanes. I have a few questions...

1) any leads on pre-painted BoB spitfires? Some Mk1s?

2) What do you guys do about maneuver decks for later releases - ie the He111 or P-51? I don't want to buy the wog miniature just for the cards. Thoughts on this?

I too have a nice little collection going on with this scale as well. I like the ideal that I do not have to paint them and the models from F-Toys are pretty nice. I also use them in Check Your 6, so the serve a dual purpose. Check E-Bay. I times you can get some good deal on them, just watch the shipping cost.

BANDAI for gashapon, or REVELL for construction models.

Check the files section. In the custom cards you will find some maneuver decks that work great for BOB era bombers.

Ryan I think some folks here might buy or trade for the planes so you could get the cards. But Richard and Baldrick are the go to guys in MHO.

Guilty as charged - I tend to buy the WOG planes, keep the cards and base, then sell on the carcass.
