I prefer one because it conveys the idea of the game as imagined by every "small boy" that plays it, rather than just showing the mechanics of the game. To me this is the true essence of the game. Soaring !

I think each is well done. I do like the digitally enhanced result of #1 as it does project the excitement of the game and the minds eye image of the game.

If only everyone had the access to the same tools, we could have some very interesting pictures.

From a photography point of view it was a tough choice but ultimately I liked the lighting and composition of #5. It also personified the WW11 era, which those of us focused on WW1 often overlook.

I am glad I am not the judge for this as it is not easy.

All of the entries were great. But I liked #1 the best. It gives me that feeling of flying. And to me thats a big pull. Its something I have wanted to do since I was very little.

I was torn between entry 4 and 5. I eventually chose 5 based on the lighting effect with the shadows. #4 was a very close second for me. I loved the two lone biplanes soaring towards their objective.
All of the entries were great.

I like WWI so #4 is my favourite but #5 seems the emblem of the Battle of Britain!

All great entries but number one captures what i see in my minds eye when i play and reminds me of my love of flight and areial contests of days gone by.

I have to say 5 for me gives a good impersion of the game without the technical imput of 1 which is just a bit like the game rules cover??
