Just added these to the site for pre-orders (http://www.aerodromeaccessories.com/index.php/miniatures/wings-of-glory/wwi-miniatures-sets.html) (bottom of the page). Expected release is in May.

I do like the look of the Capronis.
Just got to find space in my box for a couple more big ones then!

No more room in my boxes - new box, methinks!

Yes, a bomber Box is in order... especially once the b-17s come out :D

Got my order in. Keith's place is the only place. Support the site, a day or two on anything doesn't make that big a difference. Great work

Nice looking Capronis... they should find some use on my table.

 Am I seeing "stars n' bars" on the 2nd Cap's tail booms?

Outstanding! Went from a "like-to-have" to a "must-have" with that info...

Not sure if this has been asked but why two new Caproni schemes but same Gotha ?

There's not been an official answer that I've seen, but the general consensus is that they decided they didn't need to bother because the Gothas sold out so quickly first time around.

Dom has the gist of it. I talked to Roberto and his response was they there was still a lot of demand for the original Gotha schemes. We all know that the Caproni did not sale nearly as well. And since they have to be printed together, they opted for new paint schemes on Caproni in hopes of better sales.

I can't really fault that reasoning, especially as I still have a couple of the original Capronis left, but sold out of Gothas in a few months....

Well the down side is they have lost the sale of two Gothas to me.
No big deal, but I wonder how many others?
Rob.

Me, for one.

I'll most likely pick up the day version for some easy repaints... but that's it.

I will not buy another. One of the same, I would have understood. But two? No thank you. And I'm one of the gents with far too many of these little wonders. Like I need an excuse to buy more...

I shan't bother either - new Gotha schemes, yes; repeat ones, no.

Let's put it this way: the only re-buying I'm going to do of an already-released scheme is:
1. It's the only way to get a new scheme packed with it--note to Ares, do this and you will put me STRONGLY predisposed to just drop out entirely
2. Replacement for a lost, stolen or broken mini
3. It's a corrected or upgraded, in any case more accurate, version and my original is obsolete--note to Ares, do this and I WILL buy a Rickenbacker SPAD XIII again
