Messerschmitt paint schemes

Ive got 3 Messerschmitts bf 103s.Ive been looking on the internet. And some of the Messerschmitts have got a white spiral on the nose cone which i thought looked quite nice.What i was wanting to know if anybody could tell me. Is are these for a specific squadron or plane.Or was it the preference of the pilots.Because i would like to paint it on my minis.

hi, i think the particular nose scheme was not referred to a specific squadron.a few famous german aces like Hartmann and Horst for example had this particular on their planes.the only note i can give to you is that nose scheme was applied on later models of bf 109 like the 109G and 109K.these models were used during 1944-45 so when german pilots defended Berlin from the amarican bombers attacks.

Also the F model, used in late 42 to 43. So many different schemes to paint Messerschmitts, no where enough time or money.
