What to Buy?

Hi,
We are planning to play Battle of Britain era. We've got Spitfires, Hurricanes and Bf109s of 1/144 Revell series.
Any starter is good but we need bases and decks. Where and how should we buy them? Any help is welcome.

P.S: There are only starters and planes in e-bay and not the era we are looking for.

For base you are going to be limited to either my AA base or Litko. For the maneuver decks, your best best is to try and some of the old booster card packs. I don't recall which one has the Spits and 109s in them... something Eagle I think. For the Hurricanes, not sure if you can get those in an old booster or not.

Flying Legends for Spitfire decks (3 maneuver decks)

The Dawn of World War II basic card game version for Hurricane basic cards and C-Decks (Mitsubishi Zero uses C-Decks, too)

F-Toys are another source for 1/144 planes. I have bought from Hobby Link Japan and have had good results. Have a preorder in for the latest set which will be out next month.

Minicraft offers Spitfires, ME-110`s, HE-111`s, JU-88`s and Stukas. Zvesda has a great Hurricane. The Col`s right AA and Litko are your best base choices. I spotted this yesterday on EBAY.check the link. Look at my own BOB builds for some inspiration.

Just checked the E-bay link and that is not a bad price. The expansions are hard to find so getting 3 of them and the rules is not bad.

Just my opinion but I have used Keiths stuff and others. I like Keiths stuff best.

The AA products are nice and work with the official releases pegs. The Litko base system is nice, for 144 and 200 scale non official models. Both systems work great with the game! That is the important point.

I started out with Litko bases and such... and decided I could make them better. That is how AA was born ;)
