I've received some new birds for Christmas. Inês and my younger sister (Inês made her do it, I think) and myself... we offered me some presents. These are the WW2 miniatures to work in the next few months:

The British. BoB almost complete. :)

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=118270&d=1388262050
The Americans. Early Pacific. Need decals for these...

The Little Soviets. To be used in Operation Barbarossa and Spanish Civil War. There's a Portuguese who fought there in these little fighters against Franco's fascists. ;)

My Solo Campaign gained some new protagonists.

My 3 AIM Spitfires are here.
I've tried to give them the 1940 look. Almost fragile.

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=119598&d=1388860731

The Spits are so elegant.

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=119599&d=1388860738

Sorry for the shining effect from the decals.

My AIM Me-110 waited almost an year to see they're faces painted.
I was late but true to my promise to them.

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=119597&d=1388860726

The Me-110 may not be the best twin engine fighter, but it has a special place in my heart.

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=119596&d=1388860722

Zerstörer! Zerstörer! Zerstörer!

Old enemies dinning together at my table!

I'm now painting 4 little birds and I always think of you when I'm painting these.
They will be flown in the brief passage that takes Joaquim into Poland 1939. ;)

My two Heikels He-111 finally finished.

The Mediterranean front is starting and I need contenders.

These two will join my Ju-88's for Med and BOB.

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=125109&d=1394320075

They are excellent models from AIM.

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=125110&d=1394320082

They waited a long time to be painted but here they are.

Lots of beautiful birds here. This fall I may try my hand at painting some WWII. I'll be at a convention (Fall In) where AIM attends so I'll have to buy a flight or two from him.

As well as the good standard of the AIM mins it is also the types of aircraft not done by ARES which is very good, they (AMI) fill in a lot of gaps. Second only to Clipper:cheezy:

These are my Ju-88's that will harass my carrier in my Mediterranean Campaign.

They're AIM (both planes and decals) and they were very easy to paint.

For the Kindness of Strangers opening chapters - The I-16 dressed with Republican colors.
These are AIM planes. Lovely and full of spirit.

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=122323&d=1391866758

The little "Mosca's" were wonderful to fly. It means fly.

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=122324&d=1391866763

The international squadron wanted them. The Spanish Nationalists called them "Rata", a rat.
http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=122325&d=1391866767

The Russian called him Ishak (the same sound in Russian as I-16) and it means donkey.
http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=122327&d=1391866778

And the Finish called him Siipiorava (Flying Squirrel).

Poor Peter! He'll have to buy a notebook to write down all the messages we have for Dave...
Well now...
Have you bought the notebook already?!
We need to advise Dave on what planes he should produce first. Let's start.

Being doomed without the proper liquor is a bad thing, Peter. Or being on the other side of the Death Star main weapon...

This is my list:

Lockheed A-29 Hudson
Focke-Wulf Fw-190A-3
Kawasaki Ki-45 Nick
Kawanishi H8K Emily

These are some superb works of yours, Quim. Since I am fond of the early war period, I-16 are the most iconic planes tht can be used in the Spanish War and 1939 (what if?) till 1942 scenarios. I had a chance to put mine in play some time ago in a 1939 possible duel with PZL-P11 and we had a great time shooting them down :D Some pics are below.

Your's are awesome, Andy.
I've bought 4 Me-109's E to paint them in the Spanish Civil War scheme.
I intend to do it this week. ;)

The colour of your PZL P-11 is just beautiful.

Joaquim, where do your flight stand bases from?
I noticed the Messerschmitt 109s all have the "correct" base. Did you just replace the official Nexus/Ares model with your own?

John, please note that AA offers some excellent universal bases with altitude dials that can be used with any plane (you may eventually ignore the rear red firing arc).
