Avatar Question

Is it possible to have a user-uploaded avatar maintain alpha channel transparency? I'm using a png-24, and made sure the transparency is there, but I can't match the avatars you create for the site. I assume its the conversion of the upload tool. No biggee whatsoever if not possible via upload, but I just want to stop banging my head against the monitor. :)

I figured it out. If the png is anything but exactly 100px x 100px, it "eats" the transparency.

Wait, am I talking to myself. Must be flying too high. :o
