Amount of Damage Decks?!

Hello All,

We recently acquired a Deluxe Set, to add to the existing Watch Your Back, and Famous Aces. When our group plays we usually play between 10 to 15 planes at a time. What do you recommend for Damage deck usage for amount of planes?

We used to have 1 x A deck and 1x B deck... so just we just mixed the cards back to the deck of the downed planes when we run out.

But with the extra decks (double for A), do you recommend to add combine the A and B decks?

Is there a house rule for a "golden" ratio of decks to planes in play?

In the FAQ, the designer's suggested minimum is one deck for every four planes in use. He also mentions that there's no need to separate them again for smaller games.

I combine the decks of the same class as I acquire them, regardless of how many planes are in the game.
