I just realized this is the correct section for this thread....
OK, I am watching the new Red Baron movie and enjoying it.
What surprised me was the reference to other pilots not only going to school together but in some cases being related.
I knew this was considered a knobility area of the war, knights of the sky and all, but there was true kinship between pilots of the different nations. At least in the early part of the war.
