Great to see a C1 in our midst Matthias.
As the others say it would make a very good starter project for new repainters.

Thank you guys!

The plane Iīve made is taken from pictures of "Windsock Datafiles No. 57 - Albatros C.I" and "Aircraft of WWI 1914-1918" by Jack Herris and Bob Pearson (a must have for WWI modellers!).
Sadly there are no unit informations availible.

The model ist a shapeways-model - by Colinwe
https://www.shapeways.com/model/584518/1-144th-albatros-c-i.html?li=search-results&materialId=6

The crew is also from shapeways - by Reduced Aircraft Factory. There are Packages of Pilots and gunners (the gunners ar a little bit to big in my opinion but of very good detail).
http://https://www.shapeways.com/model/874666/1-144-wwi-pilots.html?li=shop-results&materialId=61 (https://www.shapeways.com/model/874666/1-144-wwi-pilots.html?li=shop-results&materialId=61)

I used revell waterbased colors as always.

The decals are from Domīs Decals http://www.domsdecals.com/shop/page/1?sessid=fyN7uEakZoQce4vke6E5T42vQJpSQWi7Xfq30qTFpiM0zOzz6fP1nX9yAD5DZ9Lu&shop_param=, the serial number is a self made decal.

Sealed with Klear & a couple of coats of watered down PVa then Under-coated with white (Humbrol 34 acrylic).
Fuselage & undersides top coat of Vallejo sky blue cut with some white 2:1 ish to lighten the colour; Upper surfaces Humbrol Acrylic aircraft blue (65) though probably should be light grey.
Repainted with Klear, Decals are by Dom then applied & also sealed with Klear; top coated with Humbrol Acrylic Matt Cote (49). Crew by Peter Pig

Here I go with my Albatroses C 1 (Shapeways).
I decided to paint them with Pactra No.93 (RLM 76) blue-grey color (used for late war Luftwaffe fighters undersides in scheme RLM 74/75/76).
Figures are PeterPig ones. Doms/Aim Decals.

Very nice done Andrzej, great looking birds.

- They must habe super-superchargers for their engines - they are flying as high as the moon! -

Can you add some pictures of your game mat - looks interesting?

 Thanks Matthias:) It is - I suspect - a moon cratered area superimposed over the regular countryside:)
I own a Hi res file for this one - it is a smaller version of a very large one I was given at the Origins 2013, signed by the group of our forumers:)

A very nice paintjob, John. I must admit I was thinking about the bright blue scheme version, similar as yours. It looks really well. Amazingly, how people get creative sharing a common interest in gaming

The first picture has come out a lot brighter and bluer in shade than reality.
the mat underneath is green.
the two middle pictures are the closest to the right colour which is Humbrol 65
