:D As a recent convert to dip my fingers into WW2 I wondered how many dedicated WW1 pilots are now thinking of extending their flying careers into WW2?
There are just so many new great models appearing & the scenario options are really endless.
So lets know .
Will you weaken & start flying in WW2 as well?

Nope, too big of investment in the great war, and now the Napoleonic naval war.
Anyways, my decision came long before the SoG game, as I was very disappointed in the scale change and was only collecting 1/144 scale for any aircraft in my collection.

I took the plunge a little while back. WWI will always be my main focus, but I can appreciate having something alternative to play occasionally, and that WWII might draw some people in where WWI wouldn't. And besides, I can't resist the Bf-110!
I am purposely staying away from WGS. If others have it, I would gladly play it - same with X-Wing - but no collecting for me. Too many games; too many interesting historical periods; not enough time, I am afraid.

The thought had crossed my mind... But honestly, I've got MORE than enough collecting, building, playing, etc ahead of me w/ WWI that I really can't justify it. Tempting though it may be...:smack:

If they get around to releasing Mosquitos I'm gonna get divorced, or have to get a second job (to pay for two sets of minis and a bigger house for more storage). :wafangry::erk:

Well I have to say I started with WW1 then got into WW2 early on. I'm glad to have both games as each has their strong points. Just last night got to play some with the new early war WW1 planes with my friend Scott. I started out strong but we finished with each having 3 wins and 3 loses. So I say give me both.;)

Same as many players here I started with WW1 then branched out into WW2. In my case though WGS has become the primary obsession.......

I had no real intention of starting WW2 untill a friend gave me his minis and fire from the sky. So I now collect the minis I want, and play not very often
I am staying away from WW2 just sticking to WW1.

I play both systems and I am pleased to see that WGS is growing on such experienced WGF players like Barry and Rob. C'mon chaps, I'd love to see you both flying Spits and Hurries!
I am getting just enough for some BoB scenarios, but that will be all.

Then maybe Malta? And if you have aircraft for Malta you might as well get a few more for North Africa. And those little sideshows in Greece and Syria as well ......

I really believe WGS has 'longer legs' than WGF. The number of aircraft and greater variety of roles and theatres of operations will see us enjoying the system for years to come. I predict once official torpedo/anti-ship rules are released the player base with expand rapidly.
I'm in the reverse direction. Started with WW2 and will NOT stop playing it, but just started to buy WW1 stuff :D

But but Andy, that's just plain impossible........oh yeah see what you mean, no definately only BoB unless B17 and Lancasters appear, that and we actually get the WW2 rules over here in UK
I am already a convert, started playing WW2 when it first came out.

I stay with WWI...... WWI is the real dogfight era and the pilots were more stars than the ones from WW2.
The WW2 is a rather close variant of the WW1 ruleset.
I am also playing the Star Wars Xwing game because the ruleset is much more different (and tactical).
