For people wishing to participate, the guidelines are;

Step 1: Play your game/s on a Saturday and decide the overall winner (CP or Entente or other?)

Step 2: Go to the 'Quick Report' thread and post about your match, and end the post with either CP Victory or Entente Victory for example.

Step 3: Post up your AAR titled... AAR (SND) *then your mission name here* in Mission Discussions>Saturday Night Dogfight.
AAR not necessary if you don't want to. It would be good to post a summary picture, of planes and the damage cards they sustained... just to verify your win/defeat etc.

You will have until each following Wednesday to post results into that weeks entry.

If you play a theatre of war, that you wish to see included then please PM or post up.

This is based on the overall results of games played.

This will be running again this weekend, so yet another chance to stick it to your enemy 'en masse'.

Choose your mission, your planes, your objectives... but choose your enemies wisely 'again' lol.

If you miss a week, it's no sweat. You can now track a running total each week, to help you decide which side you want to play for next time ;)

I know. I just REALLY wanted to do my best not to miss a week. But, such is life eh? :hmm:

Part of what kept me so hog tied as well was finally finishing the Se5a card model I'd been building. After I got it done I was inspired & cranked out another on Sunday. I took a break last night & just have to put the finishing touches on #2 tonight & then I hope to put some pics up before I go to bed. :)

In expectation of the arrival of WW2 Series 4, and the opportunities for night-time missions, I experimented further with my "night-fighting" rules, placing a He-111 (plus its "decoy") against a pair of D.520s. (Historically, the D.520s were not used as night-fighters; but this was an experiment.)

Results: The He-111 almost completed its mission -- fly to the far end of the table, and back -- but one D.520 caught it early on, and harried it until the other showed up; the -111 finally fell two movements short of its home edge. So, 1-0 to the Allies. (It might have been 1-0.5; that persistent D.520 ate a bunch of hits to ensure the -111 stayed "spotted" until the other D.520 showed up, and was down to 3 hits and 1 pilot injury when the German fell.)

Oh, and the night-fighting rules seem to work; granted, it's a exercise in Insanity to try to play both sides one's-self, tho', esp. when part of the rules involves one side not knowing which of two target cards is the Actual Target.

I will add it to the results Chris. ;)

We will keep a log of the data here, until an official SND thread is located in the WWII section of the forum.
It's only fair to include all players matches methinks.
