Is anyone interested in decal sheets for repainting Series 6 when they come out? If so, please post up pilots and/or units that you would like to see decals for.

I want a bunch of the Aviatiks done up in that cool all-over lozenge scheme.

Black Flight's a given here, and probably doing something for Italian Hanriots, as those are the obvious easy repaints. French navy triplanes are a possibility.

That narrows it down :D

Black Flight deffo. Surely French Triplanes will just consist of different numbers?

Not far off; numbers in the right font, roundels in the right size, and the odd Sopwith marking for the tail of the ones that weren't overpainted. Easy job, and even possible to squeeze it onto another sheet if I leave the roundels off.

Even though I done 4 of Black flight with home made decals I would gladly replace with more professional ones.
Also like the sound of Naval 8, some Aviatics for Flik 56j & 14 J , thinking of the Letters on the coloured backgrounds here

I would like to see some Belgian decals for the Hanriots. Any chance for a sheet of Belgian aces?

I think the four aces of Flavio Torello Baracchini would be great!!!

I'd love to see decals/paintscheme for Lt. Col. Raymond Colishaw. "he was the first pilot to claim 6 victories in one day and the highest scoring ace to fly the*Sopwith Triplane." http://www.theaerodrome.com/aces/canada/collishaw.php

I'd also like to see decals for Donald MacLaren. He was the highest scoring ace to fly the Sopwith Camel. http://www.theaerodrome.com/aces/canada/maclaren.php

I think Colishaw is scheduled to be one of the Ares Official Tripes Rob, so you could be in luck.

I'd also like to see the early winged Hanriot of Fucini; it's a beautiful red&white scheme, which would be very difficult to pull off with home printing.

The Dunkirk Tripes? Don't forget the "Lift Here" signs.

These are some good suggestions guys. If you have photos or profiles of the planes you want, please post them up in this thread. Or, if you have them in a book, give me the title and the page where I can find it.

The less research the artist has to do, the more time he can spend getting the decal sheets ready.

Markings for Jasta 12 SS DIII please and I think other SS planes that are known. It might be possible to do a selection from several Jasta since it wasn't widely used.

Graven, is the only one I know and is found in the Osprey title Jagdgeschwader NrII, ISBN 1-84176-727-1. In the same book another J12 SS is detailed with a simple white band but this is a DIV model although it would still be a good marking to have available. Then there are other SS DIII's say from J15 although I'm not sure on the rudder shapes for each model.

On the Sopwith Triplane could I suggest.
The simple numbers and two small vertical bars of 1 Naval squadron would make a neat gaming sqd – planes all with simple numbers.

My personal favourite though would be 8 Naval. Again the Osprey title details many of them. I'd really like to have "PEGGY". ISBN 1-84176-728-X

If anybody has any further SS DIII marking to make that a viable sheet do shout…

Some decals for Belgian HD's? ( De Meulemeester, Olieslagers had 2 different ones, and perhaps a generic Belgian one? )

That white scottish thistle marking alone would be an asset to the repainters :)

Something like this? This seemed to be only Triplane in Russian service.
