I wish we could be there. I spent several days this week taking care of my Dad back home, so tomorrow I will be spending time catching up with work, etc.

Too bad Sails of Glory isn't out. With all the rain, a sailing game seems appropriate.

The day is here!! The machine is warming up on the flight line!!! It's a sunny, clear day over Northern Illinois, with unlimited visibility!!! This morning the patrol area is just west of Chicago. Time to go hunting!!!!

I'd say we had a good day!!! I think Bob was the Ace of the day with 4 kills (none of his own planes exploded), and Beth tore up the trenches again. And again, Michael had some great scenarios. Now, if I can master those hot rod Spads (yeah, one can dream)!!!! I was doing good until I screwed up and put the Spad in Bob's (call him "Iceman" for his patience) crosshairs and...., well, you know the rest of the story!!! Bravo Illinois and Wisconsin Flights for a fun day!!!

Yeah, those job things screw up my plans all the time too!!! I'm glad it's only a case of workitis, we missed you!!! (although, it made for less pilots there to laugh as the Spad crumpled up on its way back down to Earth!!!)

Beth and I had a great time! We missed some of the regulars (Gunnar,John,Rick,Joe,Eric,Susan,Pat) however, hopefully we recruited a few other pilots for the Illinois/Wisconsin squadron.
