Repeated tonight (Sun, 13 Jan 13) on BBC2 at 2000 is an excellent 1-hr documentary on the WW2 Siege of Malta presented by James Holland (author of 'The Battle of Britain' - http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/showthread.php?9247-WGS-Battle-of-Britain-The-Five-Months-That-Changed-History-May-October-1940). Well worth a look, with a good commentary mixed with interviews with islanders and British servicemen who took part in the siege such as Spitfire pilot Tom Neil, and quite a bit of historical film including some colour footage of Bf110s. While the naval aspects are also covered, the majority of the show concentrates on the action in and from the air.

Thanks for flagging that up Balders.
I am interested in that not just because of the imminent release of the Gloster Glads, but because my ex technition served there during the seige. He had a few stories to tell as you may imagine.
Rob.

Fortunate, as 'Faith', 'Hope' and 'Charity' don't rate much of a mention!
