These are designed to operate as a uit on table. Notice the leader's streamer between the struts on the lead plane.

I painted them! :p
Nah, just kidding! ;)
They are decals - ultra-thin black lines produced by Kevin @ Miscmini

These are the ones I used for the wing rib tapes on my Pfalz E.I and E.II planes...

Fiddly, but well worth the effort!

The attention to detail is excellent -- just looking at the pictures you would guess they are 1:72 or larger. The Albatros C.VII was the most common German two-seater in early 1917, just before the meteoric rise of the D.F.W. C.V.
I painted them! :p

Good luck, my fingers are too big for this work really on Valom kits. I did use all the metal parts apart from the rear gun
Baz,
I thought that such a great paint job deserves a card to match, so I mocked this up for you. Hope it meets your needs.

Amazing wood grain on that beauty.

Another Shapeways C.VII. According to Jack Herris in his Aeronaut book, 'perhaps of Flieger Abteilung (A) 209'.

Various decal crosses, Unit triangle symbol and serial number home made.
Getting in the Peter PIg pilot was more of a challenge than expected. Getting the pilot into a satisfactory position wasn't the easiest but the real challenge was getting the glue into his cockpit. I think I better invest in a bent tip syringe for future similar situations!
