Hey all,

I joined the forum about three weeks ago, but this is my first time posting here.

Im a 46 year-old estate planning attorney living in Madison, WI who loves gaming.

I was introduced to WoW about 2-3 years ago. I liked it, but for various reasons just didn't get into it.

About 4 months ago, I took another look, and have really fallen for the game.

Miniature games in general don't appear to be terribly popular with my usual gaming groups, so I'm looking to see if there is a group that plays in/around the Madison, WI area.

I've acquired a fair number of miniatures for both WWI and WWII, and like them both equally.

Anyway, just wanted to drop a quick line and introduce myself to the community :)

On behalf of the pilots based here in Dear old Blighty welcome to the Drome Thomas.
I'm sure that the chaps over Stateside will be able to tell you the state of play in your area.
In the meantime why not join us in the Officers' Mess for a cold one and a chinwag.
Rob.

Welcome!

I live in Janesville and work in Madison. Just returned from an overseas deployment and getting back into WoW/WoG myself. Not sure if anyone is playing WoG and The Last Square anymore, but they use to alot. I will be there for a Guadacanal Campaign event this Saturday (3 NOV) where I will be trying Check your Six.

I would be happy to meet up some time and get a regualr group going. Otherwise meet a good group of guys down at Rock CON that are pretty active in the Rockford area.

I know of one or two others in the Janesville are as well as my two sons who will occassionally entertain a game or two.

I also have an extensive collection of both WWI and WWII and just lack local players, but I am sure we could make soemthing happen.

Welcome! :) I have no doubt you'll find others in WI. I don't know from personal experience, but my understanding has always been that it was a hotbed of gaming, what with everything from "D&D" to "Dawn Patrol" & the like. ;)

Welcome Goldom!! As far as gaming, possibly check with crashx in IL. I was just at Rock Con with BBsuds and got lots of help from crashx. They do a lot in the Rockford area and are very knowledgeable..

Hello Thomas, welcome to the group!!! With all the people I have been blessed with to meet since Rock-Con, it looks like we might need a bigger table to game on when everyone can get together!!!
