Ada game day, come all. Will start at noon till we get tired. Will be playing WGS and WGF as well as other board games. I have plenty of planes so if you're new to the game we can lend you a bird to fly.
We will be playing at St. Mark Lutheran Church (http://www.lutheransonline.com/servlet/lo_ProcServ/dbpage=page&gid=20052053926529690201111555&pg=20052053926535684201111555&fid=20052054705583152901111555) right behind McDonalds on main street in Ada, Ohio. Hope to see everyone there. If you have any questions please pm.

Update...Potluck at game day. Yes there will be food and drink. We will play and break bread. Hope to see everyone there.:eat::minis:
:salute:

I'll be there with a crock of homemade beef veggie soup and rolls.
The new He-111s will be flying too, per CappyTom's request.

<sly voice> "FISHING FEVER

Seriously Brian, We'd love to see you again, but you have to do what you must. I know.

I hope you guys are coming with an appetite; I have the soup cooking right now.
Tom: should I bring any planes aside from the He-111s?

Well we will be using Spits, Hurricanes, 109's, Stukas and the He-111s. So bring some of those if you like to make sure all have planes.

Congrats chaps! I share your Sunday joy from here:) It's great you can have such community event there. But what were the results? Who showed any ace skills? Any butcher's list? Or it was no matter, just fun was what counts;)

That weekend I had only some Memoir'44 games (8 battles on the island of Crete) and some family gaming ("Dungeon!" and "Hobbit").

We had fun. But some will share their daring feats.

Talk about bad luck. The dreaded Double boom.
Some even got in a little WW1.

It was a great day; we discovered in the first game that He-111s attract boom cards as well as Gothas do! (though the second one managed to bomb and destroy the orphanage...er the munitions factory, and was on it's way the the toy factory...er poison gas works when it succumb to gunfire. I'm still not clear why the Hurricanes got an extra A chit firing, though.
While most of the players went off to fly in space, Brian (Skullduggery), Thomas (redcoon2) went back to WW1, flying 2 planes apiece in an every man for himself sharkpit. The photo shows Brian's Baron Rouge getting it from both myself and Thomas, drawing a boom card from each of us. OUCHie.
It was great to see everyone there, and thanks to Tom for hosting again.
BTW: I will thank my wife for the soup if you'd like, Tom, though I'm not sure why since I'm the one who made it ;)

Sorry Karl, thought your wife made the soup. I added the extra chit just to give the hurricane an extra edge and see if the would help to take down the bombers. But with the boom cards popping up guess I didn't need them.
