I've been talking to Dave Schmid at Armaments in Miniature regarding availability of his 'To Be Released' Bostons/DB-7s - they are available now, and by the end of next week he should also have solid-nosed A-20Gs and A-26Bs.

This from Dave's email:

" Please note that the following models are now in production: I-16, Yak-1, Pe-2, SB-2, A-20C, Ms.406, Potez 631, Bre.693, LeO-451, H-75, Douglas DB-7.

Along with the A-20G and A-26B, I hope to have the P-51D, P-51B/C, F4U-1A (birdcage), F4U-1D (bubble), F4U-5, P/F-82 Twin Mustang, P-40E, C.200, G.50, SM.79, BR.20 available by month's end."

Good news for the Pacific and Italian participation in BofB, seriously bad news for my bank balance :(

Edit: Forgot this bit:

"I have, in limited production, a direct copy of the HBM Models Gloster Gladiator (done with their permission). It costs $3.00 but doesn't have the mounting pin on the bottom of the plane. I do plan to "tweak" this model (again with permission of HBM Models) but I do not have a completion date at this time."

I am going to have to take long service leave to catch up with my painting of the existing massive backlog!

But the SM.79, G.50 and MC.200 are must haves, looks like I'll be placing another order with Dave next week :minis:
