Hardback Summary:
This good, useful book contains illustrations on about 40 types of aircraft. Each has a page of information text. Each aircraft type (eg Bell P-39 Airacobra) then has a 2 page spread of large colour drawings from 5 viewpoints, followed by a further 2 pages of just side profiles of different marks/colour schemes of that aircraft type. There are about 8 – 12 side profiles for each of the aircraft featured on those 2 pages, often with other items on the page including scrap views of personal markings etc when they are not visible or too small on the illustration. There is also about a paragraph of further information on each of the profile illustrations.

Overall an enjoyable book to dip into, a good primer to get the painting/creative/investigative juices flowing, which I think is always a good thing.
