Hello.
I am helping marketing people to recover shops that previously had Wings of War and still do not have Wings of Glory. If you know any and want to tell me, you are welcome.
All the best,
Andrea

Two biggest Polish online stores:
rebel.pl - they have WGS starter plus WWII planes and WGF bombers, but no Series 5, no R.A.Pack.
bard.pl - no WoG at all (shame).
mind games melbourne australia.

Dragons Den Poughkeepsie NY USA
Clifton Games in Exeter, Devon, UK though they stopped selling WoW planes a couple of years ago due to the rapidly increasing prices of planes.
Crackers in Taunton, Somerset, UK still has a few WoW planes left but might not stock WoG due to low sales

Ace comics in Colchester Essex. They had a couple of Zeros and a Belgian RE8 left last I looked but their games section is very atrophied and mostly seems to be A&A and a few leftovers from 4e D&D.

Some of the shops in the Czech Republic that used to sell WoW stuff and some of them still have the items or that are trying to sell WoG:
Svět deskových her: http://www.svet-deskovych-her.cz/ (the shop owner is active here and he sells WoG stuff too)

Recovering bricks and mortar stores will be fine as long as those stores can get close to realistic prices. £12 a fighter in the UK is ridiculous when you can get them from the US (albeit with a time lag) for 2/3 that (even with VAT and RM's levy added, as long as you buy several). so Andrea, please impress upon the marketing people the URGENT NEED to get a sensible, coherent worldwide pricing policy. And a distribution policy that gets the goodies into the shops at about the same time, rather than several months later.

As far as pricing is concerned, ok. In the past, we already managed to have UK supplied from Europe and not from USA as it was when WoW has been released (priduct was printed in Italy, sent to USA and then from there to UK - a disaster).
For the delay, the first airplane pack series' release in England faced a weirs series of circumstances hardly to be repeated - evidence is the fact that the Rules & Accessories pack has been released before them in UK.
Still waiting for the german version of the Rules&Accessories Pack...
As for shops:
Mage Store (located in Düsseldorf, Germany)

I was going to mention the place nearest me -- but I went in there the other day, and to my amazement they had Series 5 and the R&AP on the shelf.
Granted, then the other problem kicked in -- namely: They were charging full-retail.... :P
Hey, just a quick note. All About Games, in Boise, Idaho, is the areas largest Board game retailer. I went in there today, to grab a few things. I wanted another Heinkel bomber and to my dismay, they do not carry the line, either WWI or WWII. They use to have a huge section devoted to Wings of War. I have been out of the area and not around for over a year, but am back now. They had placed their remaining Wings of War stock on clearance. I was able to get a couple good deals but was hoping to have a local supplier. They were not aware of Wings of Glory's existence and are not currently planning on carrying the line. Hopefully you can change that!

They were not aware of Wings of Glory's existence
See my earlier comment on lack of publicity (described at the time as harsh but fair and cruel) - us players have a role to play in raising awareness in those markets where we spend, hopefully this will be matched "officially"

btw I'm fairly certain Triple Helix used to stock Wings of War. I don't see it listed on their website these days (might just be my eyesight though!)

I visited Dream Wizards (in Rockville, Maryland, USA) a week or two ago and I don't recall seeing any Wings of Glory. They did carry Wings of War.

Meeplemart, Comic Warehouse, 401 Games, Heavy Support - All in Toronto, Canada - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, Oh Pretty Please get them back in the stores here!!!!(LOL) I don't mind ordering internationally, but shipping is pricey and a pain. If i didn't have to pay shipping I'd probably buy more planes!
That's the real pain, when you have to pay shipping. Worse if it's international, and a nightmare if it's coming in from outside of the EU where you then get clobbered, sometimes, for all sorts of taxes, duties and admin fees. For small quantities you can end up paying more than the plane cost. So you have to order a lot to make those fees worthwhile.
I bought all of my planes at wargames shows, the last being at Crisis in November. I've even planned a trip to visit family in the UK so it coincides with a wargames show. I now have to hope at least one trader will have the new planes in stock.
the Wargames Emporium in Orchard Square Sheffield http://www.wargamesemporium.co.uk/ Always stocked WOW but I think were let down by thier suppliers on a lot of occasions ,they even used to run instore games . Although they still order in for me and have even found me some old planes at very good prices.
