Nice, I got one of these to do myself.
I also have the Windsock Datafiles for this aircraft and the scheme you have done seems to have been the one most commonly used, unless I read it wrong :)
Re-checked and this type used as Barry stated for Naval planes and late CI two seaters

:thumbsup:Another very well done rendition Barry.
That is an aircraft IO could well do with for my Austro-Hungarian Wing.
Rob.
Good work Barry:thumbsup:

Three very nasty looking varmints Matthias.
I just hope that my Italian wing manage to cope with this influx of new enemy machines.
Thanks for sharing them.

Oh Chris!
Even more temptations you are putting my way. I keep thinking that my Austro Hungarian Flight could do with a bit of beefing up, and then you go and provide this.
Very nice by the way...........

Those Phoenix D.II' s look amazing guys
Here's my Pola Naval Phonix DIIa on it's first mission.
I'm no good making decals so I used crosses from Dom and hand painted the rest. Unsure if it should have a plain wood or mottled fuselage so tried the mottling. The mottling looks better on my view with the naked eye than on camera.

This was my Ace pilot's new mount in our campaign, and true to form he was shot down and killed with 2 pilot hits shortly after the pic was taken - sniff.
Decals by Dom, paint is Vallejo, soon to be dead pilot by Peter Pig.

Great mottle work Ken.
Yes getting your new plane shot down first time out is par for the course.
My condolences.

A work in progress. I have been asked to do up cards for Unofficial Planes for the 'drome. Rather than do them up in near-exact copies, I thought I'd try something a bit different.
Thoughts?

Anything which can extend our choices of repaints, or optional pilots can't be bad Mike.
Rob.
I like the add-on of the Aerodrome logo, Mike! Subtle, yet it sets it apart from the original look of the cards.
Beautiful, as always!
All the best,
Matt
Here is a close view of Phoenix I made for LL raffle. And the second one I made for myself.
They are Ares miniatures with a touch of brown on edges plus home made decals for the letter on fuselage.
Pilots figures are from Peter Pig.

Never mind. Once the question was posted, they all appeared.
