SOPWITH PUP.

This is an easy one for a beginner to have a go at.

56580

Clean up the castings.
Glue the four outer wing struts to the lower wing. Use the upper wing as a template to align them.
When dry assemble the cabine struts in the same manner.

56581

Once these are dry, place the top wing on and glue.

56582

If you wish drill and pin prop in place. Do not add glue yet.

56583

Remove prop, turn plane over and assemble undercart.

56584

Check alignment and glue.
Prime plane and prop with white primer.

56585

Paint plane and allow to dry fully.

Glue prop in place.
Gloss varnish.
Brush micro set onto parts where decals will be placed.
Put on decals and allow to dry.

56586

Brush over with Micro Sol to set in decals, and allow to dry over night.
Varnish to taste.

My thanks to Gunners for supplying the Pup decals.

Dear Rob:

You are single handed the person who will make me someday buy a Skytrex or Reviresco plane.
In your hands they become beautiful.

Congrats on another excellent How to.

I guess that's almost permitable. Will still have to dock your wages. Can't have the chaps swanning of here there and everywhere. There is a war on you know. Well hope you gave those dastardly Hunnish Roundheads a good thrashing.
Nowt like some cold steel and blackpowder to liven up the blood.

Oops my bad
I was am and always will be a Royalist at heart.
Being related to Charles Stuart through his Great Grandad James the 5th (wrong side of the blanket of course) helps.
Still if I do get back to Blighty and there's a battle on I might just join up with you if SWMBO allows it.

That is very interesting Linz. I am Scots on my Great grandmother's side who was a Stuart. We always had a joke in the family that I would be Pretender if only 2074 people died.

The funny thing is, that with my two main enactment periods being the Civil War and Jacobite. I spend half my year trying to remove a Stuart King and the other half trying to reinstate one.

My Grandmother was a Leask of the Ilk. Directly decended from the clan Chief who was decended from James 5th on his maternal side. Very distant but 500 years is along time ago.
2074 probably start with the ones that are least conspicuous then as you get better at it more on to the bigger targets.
You might want to get started fairly soon at 1 per week it will only take just under 40 years :)
Happy to help
