This is an oversized Osprey style book. It primarily tells about the U. S. aviators that were awarded the Medal of Honor during World War One. But like the Osprey books it is full of photographs and has color profiles of the aircraft flown by the aviators. Of paticular interest is the section on Charles Hammann. It gives a wealth of information on U. S. Navy aviation in Italy with photographs of the Italian aircraft used and color profices of the Macchi M-5 flown.
