Half day of school today. I was able to come home and finish two projects.

The Dr1 is a skytrex model with skytrex decals. Jasta 27, R. Klimke

The HD1 is a Revieresco model with Revieresco decals. I painted over the decals to add the stripes. They were originaly intended for a Coppens camo HD1. Now my blue Willie has a squadron mate! 9eme Escadrille, J. Olieslagers.

Once again . . . Im using my new HD-1, Flying escort for an artillery spotting mission. First damage card = EXPLOSION. I flew him 3 more times after that . . . Flames, Flames, and Flames. If I didn't know better, i would think the game was designed to torture me.:crash:

Marvin!

Here is a link that will really make her think! WW1 Airshow - Bi-Planes and Tri-Planes! If you look at the main page you will see a bar with Web Cams and More. There are shots from the past shows! The other link is to my albums shots from last year show!

She is very skeptical about vaction suggestions that I make (Lexington and Concord, Shenendowa Valley etc...) because she knows it will tie into military history in one way or another. This, however, made her say, "I would love to go down that time of year". You may have helped me more than you know!!!!!!!!

Richard I have been checking out that weekend. The commander says cool so have to get a room and get there on Friday. Your pics pushed me over the edge for this one. I went to the Reading Air Show the beginning of June ans the wife had a good time so I think this an easy show to go to.

Bob!

If you come down, try to be here around noon on Friday. They get all the planes out and give them all a check out ride. It is pure flying without any structure. That is a great photo day. No crowds , just a few of the rein-actors setting up. Last year they had the hot air balloon lunch at 5 on Friday afternoon!
