Could someone help me understand why the high speed sideslips on cards 13 & 14 are necessary when you have the same move on cards 15 & 16? Why would you use the high speed sideslip in 13 & 14 if you could use the same move in 15 & 16 without the steep? Thanks!

I don't understand, I have just checked my C deck and 13 and 14 are small steeps, 15 is the Immelmann and 16 is a long side slip, all different, you got the right deck?

The cards in the Deluxe Set/minis and normal sets might be different in numbers. And we are talking about WWII, by the way.

It's because of the slow maneuver. You can fly the same maneuver in a short and fast version after each other which was not possible if you only had one card with both of them (because both maneuvers would be steep). The slow maneuver is a steep one the fast isn't. Would have been better they just left out the fast maneuver on the steep cards (as you proposed).

It also doesn't make any sense according to the new motor damaged rule - you are not forced to fly a steep maneuver each turn now.

I thought the game was called "Dawn of Wings of War II" with the supplement "Burning Giants" ;)

Aye, I did forget to mention that it is WWII as well as the Deluxe set. I appreciate your responses. Redundant, yes...but not really a problem. -Just a bit confusing.

Get thee back to the world flimsy canvas contraptions heathens! I found this a while back it is quick reference guide showing what each card in the DOW original does. Including how each impacts the elevation of the card.
