Goring
Keith, do you know how the upper surfaces of both wings were painted?
Details from the Osprey "Albatros Aces of World War I Part 2": Ltn Hermann Goring, leader of Jasta 27, June 1917 White struts It's upper wings surfaces were light Brunswick green, dark olive green and Venetian red, with light blue undersides. As leader, Goring also carried two inverted white bands on the upper wing surface adn as single black inverted band on the underside of teh lower wing, together with the number 1 on each. I have scanned the images of the wings from the book and placed them in this album (http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/att...6&d=1324001932). They are set #30. Hope this helps!
