OTT: Mission 6 (Entente)

Mission 6 of the Over The Trenches campaign: Death Flies High
  1. 3 Sopwith Camels intercept a formation of 1 Albatros D.III, 2 Albatros D.Va, and 1 Fokker Dr.I with Ace Ability: Deadly Aim
  2. All aircraft except Camel "V" are run with AI tables. Tyneside "Advanced" tables are used for the Camels. All Central Powers aircraft use...
  3. Central Powers follow the Dicta Boelke and turn toward the enemy
  4. Camels W & X get tangled up crossing the lead V-Strutters. Trailing CP crates fire on them.
  5. Camel V sweeps in from the flank engaging A11
  6. Camel V continues through, now following the D.III, scoring more hits
  7. All crates turn back to the fight except Camel V, now following A11 again
  8. Camel W gets back in the fight. Camel V opens fire on A11
  9. A11 still pursued by Camel V, but now H14 catches up with Camel W as it follows the DrI
  10. Camel X engages H14, pulling it off Camel W's tail. The DrI performs an Immelmann while A11 finally evades Camel V, scraping along the edge of the...
  11. The DrI hits Camel X hard taking full advantage of Deadly Aim
  12. Camel X avoids further fire from the DrI while Camel V gets tied up with the two DVa
  13. The two DVa start to close on Camel X
  14. ...but Camel X avoids them... for now. Camel W starts to follow H14, while the DrI does the same to Camel V
  15. Now the real fighting starts! Camel W fans down H14 with some fierce firing. The DrI is on the tail of Camel V, starting it smoking. Camel V in turn...
  16. Heavy firing! Camel X and A13 exchange heavy fire. A13 survives, but Camel X does not. But wait... Camel V has caught up and has finally done enough...
  17. Camel V finally shakes loose the DrI but runs afoul of A13. Camel W is able to catch the DrI with a solid burst.
  18. The remaining aircraft get tangled up...
  19. ...and cross...
  20. ...before separating again
  21. Camel W gets another shot in on the DrI
  22. Then both remaining Camels put A13 in a crossfire putting it on fire and sending it to the ground.
  23. Now the remaining planes circle. Camel V is being brave to the point of recklessless - he only has 1 damage point remaining but decides to see if he...
  24. The planes circle, and Camel V ends up in a situation where the only possible move is a head-on pass with the DrI.
  25. The pass goes badly for Camel V and he is shot down. His fire convinces the DrI that it is time to head home.
  26. Camel W circles too far, then circles the wrong way (using 3x 90 degree rights) allowing the slower DrI to escape.
