Actually it is even more ironic than the caption suggests.
That saucer just hovered above the surface for a few minutes and then flew off again.

Well, if it lands in the United States of Mars, no one will ever know about it! I wonder if they their top secret base Area 15??

Fair point, well delivered, I'm sure HG Wells never thought of this one

It's amusing, but does it really count as irony if the whole concept of flying saucers was dreamt up by us earthlings in the fist place?
Seems more like karma to me. Or is karma and irony actually the same thing? - Now wouldn't that be irony?

Nice cartoons there. But to get a bit more serious. Have you guys ever heard of Cydonia region of Mars and geometrical (not only the face!) structures there?
The book written by Hancock, Beauval and Grigsby "The Mars Mistery" (or sth like that) opened my eyes. Look at this...

O yes, I read a book about it. There are even some special constructions called "a fly trap" left over. They were situated near Książ Castle...

Old rocketry saying: "There's a thousand things which can happen when one lights off a rocket; only one of them puts the payload into orbit."

The phrase you really don't want to hear.

    "We have had an anomaly."

Since you have read the book, what is significant about it being at 19.5* to the faces?

Don't f***ing get me started -- NASA's loss report for _Challenger_ doesn't include the four people I had to beat the living hell out of in 8th grade for giving me grief about it.

Oh come on, everyone knows the moon landings were fake. All the evidence is here.

Blackadder: Baldrick, have you no idea what irony is? Baldrick: Yes, it's like goldy and bronzy only it's made out of iron.

What worries me most about this Chris, is the NASA cover up.
They never told the public that they had discovered Clangers on the Moon.

Much worse than than, Rob... Much worse...
They are maintaining a cheesy business there...
Cheddar, I think, they are bringing bucket-loads of cheddar and it is causing terrible environmental problems in the moon...
    So sad...

Facinating stuff, thanks Heer Oberst I was trying to find out what was the sequence for the landing. As for the Moon landings being fake, you had to be there at the time to know they were real. Also there is one way to prove the landings were not fake, send a satellite to photo the half of the Lunar module that stayed behind (you could probably even use the the Hubble telescope to to do that)!

Because the instructions come in Chinese and everybody knows that monkeys have a hard time reading Chinese...
