    Default Too long sorties

    Hi, everyone.

I started playing the KotA campaign with a group of 6 people, some youngs new to the game. We only have time to play one afternoon every week. And it appears a problem: Each mission has to be played at least two times, but we only have time to play one, because it always lasts for 3 hours or more. How do you manage to play 3 missions in one day? No one is able to play for 5-6 hours at the same game without being bored of it, I think... Or the problem is only ours because we are slow people? Or what?

I tried to put ammo and fuel limits, but it doesn't work. We played 14-17 turns with or without this rules, playing until only one alive every time. So, we make that the winner of the sortie is the winner of the mission, because we only want to play this campaign for three monts, not for an entire year...

Every point on it will be grateful. Thanks!

Playing once a week is not bad! I'd say you have a hard working group of pilots. Strange that ammo limit didn't work for you. Playing a detchmach is nor a realistic option IMHO.
If you personally have more time than the others and like playing a sort of campaign, you will find us in the Campaign Discussion Forum - Over the Trenches campaign, led by Blackronin. There is stiil tim eand place to join us.

The listed number of sorties for a single mission is only to give a chance for each side to preform on "average". Meaning, if one side has a really bad game, like early explosion cards, there is a chance to make up for it. It's kind of like a best out of 3 type of thing.

If your group only has time to play one game of each mission, that is just fine!
