    Default New Early War Arrivals!

After discovering how few models I had in the early war period at our last game night, I went home to look through the Shapeways drawers and found a few to paint

    Morane Saulnier's of various models

Love the light fluffy look of these guys!

Russians and skulls, my son calls it the Pirate pursuit!

Nothing like a waving happy pilot!

And his little friend from across the pond, note the matching tie!

Still another friendly foe! Train people in planes!

    Parasols are cool

    Spin the prop, lets go!

A pair of cousins caught on the other side of the war

    Sky Blue, or

    Also available in tan!

    Ready to patrol the lines

Couldn't resist the black striping, too cute! Used permanent markers and lots to time, but it looks cool

Ready now for those early war skirmishes! Where's Hunter and his minions? Clipper on the light side

I've finally cracked the code! You have secretly employed Santa's elves to turn out all these planes for you.
There is simply no other way that you could pull all this work in on your own.

Looks great. Too bad we don't have a Pfalz E.III available at Shapeways yet!

    Thumbs up

    Fantastic Clipper!
I presume the German Parasols are ment to represent Pfalz's?
If so they do look the goods particularly with the Black Edging.

I guess things are so bad for the French that they are throwing pilots into planes with their business suits!

Clipper, you are amazing. Will you adopt me?

I have modified a few Fokker EIII's into Pfalz EIII's Just reshape the rudders and landing gear : ) Since this thread the elves have knocked out another half dozen Fokker and Pfalz EIII's and are now working on Halberstadts and Fokker DII's, they are a nice lot to have around indeed! Those look really, really nice. And they remind me that I have to "finish finishing" that Taube. I thought I had all the bugs worked out of it, but this last time I tried to get it printed the tail skid was too thin by 0.003mm. Agghh!

Amazing how small the Morane Saulnier Ns are compared to the rest. No wonder they were both difficult to control but more manueverable than the Fokker and Pfalz Es.

    Very nice indeed!
And I like the fact that one can see the difference in size...
