    Default Dining Room Dog Fight

Just picked up a copy of Wings of War Fire From The Sky. My son and I played a game tonight and I'm hooked as is he. The cool thing is my son is six years old and picked up the game fairly quickly. Granted he doesn't fully understand the complexities of aerial combat. But he was all smiles when he got off a burst at me. I just used K.I.S.S and we are hooked.

"The family that plays together, stays together!" That's great that you and your son got to play together.

Way to go Frank. I play with my 7 year old daughter. They pick it up pretty quickly.

This time she got it with SE5a, but she was not crying and complaining on loosing like in other games. That was just fun for her

Nice! My 8 and 10 years olds regularly shoot me down if I give them a chance. Glad to hear you've got a ready and willing opponent!

    Frank!

Great report, K.I.S.S is the KEY! A player in one of my games last month went off to buy a boxed set of DOW. He had just played a game where a father had to fight off both of his daughters! Theses young ladies were in their twenties, and wanted his preteen daughters to enjoy the game that much!!

Great to see so many young ones as well as young at heart playing and enjoying the together time. Yeah now we are trying to get some of the models to add that third dimension to the game. Gotta love ebay. I have to laugh when he gets in position to shoot he starts laughing and jumping all over the place. Will really be fun when we get some of the planes.

I got all 4 of my sons into gaming so my wife had no choice. She even played for a while but was a terror especially if the game had anything to do with ramming! Uncanny movements. that is in the game! Now my grandsons wanted painted minis for Christmas. One of them actually requested knights?! It is a great familyly tradition.
