After having his "Biff" almost destroyed under him in the last mission, here are a few pictures of his Brand New Bristol being delivered ready for his return from hospital.

    Nice.

Especially the double rear machine gun. So it's a B/A or A/A?

B/A Sven. Only the Night Fighter version I have carries AB/A guns.

We have a model of the Bristol at the club. There is some confusion as to what it is armed with. Could someone simplify and put down the different variants and what guns they have forward/rear and what card set to use.

The confusion we have is the 'B AB/B' bit. I think that's how it is.

    Bristol F2a/b
    - Single fixed forward-firing Vickers MG firing through the engine cowling
    - Single (F2a/b) or twin-yoked (F2b) Lewis MG on Scarff ring for the observer
    - Limited numbers with additional single Foster-mounted overwing Lewis MG (France and Home Defence)
    - Limited numbers with additional twin Foster-mounted overwing Lewis MGs (Home Defence); greatly reduced manoeuvrability, hence used only against lumbering bombers

And when I discussed with Zoe about the Halberstadt CL.II having a near all round rear arc of fire like the Roland C.II (inc full 360 over the prop when playing altitude) she stated the Bristol had a similar capability !?! That would really change the game

Nice Bristol by the way Rob

Last Mission OTT mid-war-campaign with my Bulldogs completed!

I'm afraid that I leave them in a not so good condition. (4 wounded one killed in the last mission)

...but: they have enough time to recover, when I lead my new Jasta 23b (angegliedert an die Kaiserlichen Adler).

    To the Bulldogs!
