Cheers! Thanks for updating the roster.

One more victory to make Ace with Ginger Matheson. I'm so excited!! I don't know what to choose; there are so many abilities that fit the character.
(Here's hoping I don't get him shot down in the upcoming fur-ball!)

After mission 10 Hawkwood has chosen Marksman I as his second Ace ability.

    Did pretty well thanks Dave.
Our day in Brighton was great. Did the Pav and the Lanes. Even found a Steam Punk shop.
Only a short shower on the first day of the three battles.
Most rain fell over night, and the first evening we could not hear what anyone was saying under the awning because the rain was so intense.
All in all not bad as far as this Summer goes.
    Rob.

Young Matheson's ace ability will be Marksman I. (All that target practice, you know.)
His status is currently Shot Down - Missing in Action. The narrative will have to unfold a bit more before we find out what has happened to him.

The unallocated victory should go to Woolsey, so he will have 2.

  16. #266

    Default

MIA? Is this part of the story (mission 7) or is the war over for Matheson?

I'll add one aerial victory Woolsey.

  17. #267

    Default

    Bulldog's short roster upgraded.

One aerial victory for Lt. Norwich and a nice "Christmas - all - inclusive - week" in the field hospital.

I've been so much looking forward to posting the results of mission 7, but I have been just so busy lately. I haven't had the time to do a proper write-up. (I've also been looking forward to reading the Bloody April RPG - no success there, either!)

I'll make an effort to put up another AAR this week!

So if you bring your Rookie back alive, he joins the roster.

    All,

I wanted to sincerely apologize for going AWOL on you all. My free time quickly went away, and I have had very little time and energy for the campaign. I had a fantastic time playing, and really feel horrible for just disappearing on all of you really fantastic guys.

I hope that I might avoid the firing squad for desertion, and that I can find some time to play some of your wonderful sorties, even if unofficially.

    Thanks for the update Sven.
For all this unsung work you will receive a rep point or three.

Not necessary, but a kind gesture, thank you.

It is important to recognise the unsung heros Sven.
Most of the work that keeps these pilots in the air goes on in the hanger by the ground crew.

That was a suprise Sven. I guess we had all better repair to the
Mess for a few jars. All the more welcome at the moment because I'm pretty grot with a cold and soar throat.

Can you up Ron Curtiss kills by 1 now that the CO has confirmed the kill
    Paul

  43. #293

    Already done, Paul.

Curtis had five kills after mission 12 and I added the 6th kill for mission 13.

The newest short roster is for mission 14. The pilotos will be underlined when they solved mission 14.

That makes Ron an Ace then.

    Ah Sven
In my AAR I mentioned a pilot hit on an Albatros that was taking off. CO confirms that this was a kill, ( I didnt see the part in the mission brief that allows a Kill for a pilot hit on take off ) along with the DR1 I pranged in a dogfight

    meanwhile off to the Bar

This is the result from your AAR.

So where is the second kill?

Please upgrade the AAR, I'll add the kill immediately then.
