    Default Lily and Ann

Two more recently completed 1/200 scale airplane minis. Both are resin miniatures from Armaments in Miniature (AIM). The decals are produced by The Goblin Factory and are available through AIM. Kevin

I don't play the WWII version, but I can appreciate great work when I see it. Great looking birds and well done!

You obviously put a lot of time and trouble into your cammo effect Kevin. Have you any tips for the chaps, so that they can emulate your fine work?

Nicely done! From the title of the post, I thought for a moment that we were going to see pin-up art.

Thanks for all of the kind remarks (and for not making too much of my confusion on the names/model #s).

Rob, on the Ki-48 Lily I used very thinned down green paint and Future floor finish. The base color is Vallejo Green-Gray and if I remember right the green is Vallejo Military Green. Once the base coat was dry I put a small pool of Future and a spot of paint on the palette. I took a stiff bristle brush, dipped it in the paint, then in the Future. I dabbed that on a test surface until I got a mix that looked right. I dabbed the paint on to the model. It was a fairly thin mix and took several coats. Kevin

Thanks Kevin. That should be of interest to several of the painters on here.

Very nice paintjobs! Seeing that you are from Northern Virginia, I hope to see you at the WW2 game I am running at Madicon in Harrisonburg on March 10 (I know it is a two hour drive...). Check out the events calendar for details.

No, I'm afraid I don't have a lead on appropriate cards.

    Thumbs up

    Bob!

Max does have a nice KI-15 Bab`s . Add the rear gun and you will have a KI-30. They are close in capabilities!
