I showed this to a friend Friday, and lost him for an hour while he looked at the rest of your gallery.

That is a great painting, rOEN!

I doubt that they are tank hunters, Karl, because they are not carrying 40mm cannon or bombs.

How on earth did you get that info from this picture Mike? You can hardly make out the registeration letters.

    Rob,
Deductive reasoning. Not many Hurricane Sqns in the desert. Only one with an "A"-something code, and this looks a lot like a "Y" or an "X". Then, look up who was in the desert at an appropriate time. It all lined up.

I was hoping it was "AN", but 417 (RCAF) Sqn was flying Mk Vc Spits around this time, so it wasn't them. Darn!

    Question

So how come we suddenly have "nana liquid" semi nude girl instead of the Hurricanes?

I checked out both. You been at the Tractor fuel again Baz.
No semi nude girls in sight. Just Hurricanes.
Now if you input "nana liquid" semi nude girl. you get a totally different view of the world.

Apparently, we both need a guide dog, Rob.

Just noticed this, when re-admiring the skills. But, if I needed confirmation for the guess, this would be it. So, pretty much the SAAF.

You mean only I could see the "nana liquid" girls?
The Hurricanes were up on the earlier posts but down further were the 3 girls but to tell the truth they were not really my types. Far too thin!

Anyway they have gone now! Perhaps only a mirage after all.?

I bet it gets cold in an open cockpit at a mile high!

Unfortunately No. I think the Photographer became incapacitated by something shortly after that picture.

    Well spotted Baz.
Was it the reference to the cockpit which gave me away or the Springbok on the fuselage?
