    Very cool. There are times when I ask myself, "if I sold all of my stuff, would I have enough money to buy a Nieuport 17 kit?" Repro airplanes rock.

    I fly Cessnas and Tri Pacers and amazed at what these men put into the air....wow.... That is cool...thanks for sharing

    Here's a project: Look up the specs for the various WW1 acft., and see how many of them fit inside FAA Light Sport Aviation parameters.... :)

    Started to do that at one point. Many dont due to horsepower limitations of the light sport class. Some of the prewar and early war planes fit the profile however.

    Um -- I'm assuming for "horsepower" you mean "top speed"; as the LSA rules do not limit horsepower of the engine, only the top speed in level flight of the unit:
