    How many of you can identify this Aircraft that Flew at the recent Stow Maries Rememberence Day.

    I thought Se4a but to many struts
    So will try Breadmore WBIII struts not quite right but best I could do.

    That's the Alcock A.1. A Pup, Triplane and Camel made into one.

    Alcock A1 as any fule no. AKA the Sopwith Mouse, as it was a chimeric creature, with components of Tripehound, Pup, and Camel.

    PS did some googling, but could find no performance data; no surprise, I suppose. Still, would have made a unique card for the game.

    Congrats to Wombat, Zoe & any others who I.D. the Alcock.
    I will be pleased to Shout you a few at the Bar.
    Designed & built as they said from various Sopwith bits.
    Alcock was of course to achieve fame with Brown after their historic flight.
