Very nice Rob, like the Hansas especially. Just as a matter of interest, what engine is the Short 184 supposed to have?

Way cool! An outstanding effort! Now has anyone got a play mat with coast lines yet? I'm thinking a creative person could make one that would join the two existing WOW mats, placing the "channel" betwixt the two . . . looking to put pontoons on one of these new Staakens . . .

Now all you need is a few coastal craft and a sub or 2!

As far as I know Gunners, it had a 260 hp Sunbeam Maori Vee engine in 1915.

The scenery is actually somethat I made for our clubs Breeds Hill demo game. It started life as the beach section along which the British Light Infantry attacked.

It must be the candy stripes that do it Keith. They were a nightmare to paint. I tried masking off, but there are such a lot of compound curves that I just could not meet up the two ends underneath. In the end I freehand painted them.

Thanks Terry. What I'm after is a larger warship at 200 scale to go with my Sub.

Yeah, I know what it was supposed to have, I was just wondering what Skytrex think they've put on it. Bears no similarity with anything I've seen hanging off the front of it.

Yes Alastair neat Sub. That is the one I'm just finishing off. What I now need are larger vessels at the same scale. Any ideas?

Thanks Rob I have searched on the net and so far I have not been able to find any, Langton miniatures is not making any more other than what they have got. I am going to try to make a German torpedo Boat out of balasa wood.

At least it was not just me then Alastair. I've been trawling through all my suppliers lists for months and not come up with anything in 1/200 scale so I guess I'll have to go smaller in scale.

Soon as I've painted the water around the Sub's base and run a game with it, you will see the results Daniel.
