Von Hotlzem and Mustangs
Recently I came accross several books concerning WWI airwarfare. One of them is a thick brick of air war knowledge with many statistics worth reading.
In another one, written by T.Goworek, entitled "Fighter aircraft of WWI" (written in polish, no info about any foreign editions) I found a very interesting information below a diagram of Max von Hotlzem's Pfalz:
"During WWII Max von Hotlzem worked as a P-51 production line inspector employed in North American company factory".
Did you guys from accross the pond know about it?

Hy Andrzej,
Max Holtzem was not gentled. The "von" in the name was earned when you became a knight in the middle-age or later when your recive a knights cross.
The title was/is heritably.
But it´s of interesst that he was involved in allied aircraft-produktion in WWII. I only knew that he was in Argentina after WWI and then resides in the US.
