it is sad that some officers did send men to their death that day.. I also find it appalling that they were not given Courts Marshal afterwards.. Pershing should have been shot.. no matter how accurate he prediction of Germany's future actions..
that was eye opening.. I find it unfortunate that U.S. history passes over the First World War too quickly in our education.. Though I am Proud to be an American, and Ptoud of the service I gave to this country.. I am sometimes ashamed of how we got where we are..

I agree. When I was in school, the teachers only threw out some names and dates without telling much of the story behind it. Not just for WWI but for other historical events as well. I'll definitely be watching this documentary.
