Woo! First vote. In other news, I found my bloody DH4 hiding in the garage behind my bench vice. Perhaps my wife put it there, keeping my vices together...

Nice work there all, I hope to compete next time

All very good and far better than what I can do, but have to go with No6 it is a very good paint job.

  5. #5

I tried very hard to look at the actual painting rather than the decaling, so for me it came down to either #1 with the fantastic shading detail or #8 with the well done hand-painted orthodox cross on the fuselage.

    I went with #1.

    Great job all around.

As a miniature painter, I was looking mostly for neatness of applied paint, opacity of the coverage, as well as attention to detail. All the models presented have something to offer in each regard, but a couple of them can lay claim to all those things in my opinion.

It has me enthused to do a bit of my own on my new toys

    Very good effort by everyone.
    A difficult choice to make.
A number of plane where outstanding.
I went for number 1 after much thought.

I have cast my vote for number 5, but it's been hard to decide. Pity I could vote for one plane only. Congrats for all participants for their outstanding paint jobs

Nice Job on all choices... I feel there is one definite A++ paintjob in the group...

I also noticed that apparently either WoW minis have secretly been available since September of 2002... or one of our members needs to reference their manufacturer's manual on how to set the date on their camera...

My what a hard choice. I did narrow it down to Two choices 5 and 8. I really can't say I cose 8 over 5. I can tell you I'd like to have both in my collection.

I know the UPS bird isn't really period, but I was a driver for UPS at the time, and thought it was humorous.
