    This is how your aircrafts guns sound :
    (Set your sound to the maximum and duck for cover! )

    Those old MGs (the Vickers and MG'08) Fire so slowly compared to modern LMGs and GPMGs, it surprised me!

    Thats an interesting point... the fire rate is slow enough that at 115 miles an hour zipping past its no wonder that some of the bullets missed.

    Thank you for posting these. I don't suppose that the pilot would hear much of them over the sound of the engine.

    When in the Army we did training under fire, the staff used the Vickers Medium MG.

    Dont forget the interuptor gear on the Aircraft tended to slow down the rate of fire for the Vickers & Spandaus but the Lewis above the wing was of course not affected.
