Thread: Books (What do you own?)

Default Books (What do you own?)

    Hi all,

Just looking around to add to my WWII aviation book collection.

I'm having trouble locating this title "Focke-Wulf Fw 190, Vol. 1: 1938-1943". Does any one know a local that may have it?Online isn't showing up with much at all.

I'm really trying to balance it out with a few more books for the Germans and the Japanese, does anyone have suggestions on great books?

Has anyone read any of the Osprey duel series?

I just ordered these 3 titles from my local:

Aircraft of the Luftwaffe Fighter Aces II: A Chronicle in Photographs: Volume 2 ~ Bernd Barbas (Hardback)
P-51 Mustang vs Fw 190: Europe 1943-45 ~ Martin Bowman
P-38 Lightning Vs Ki-61 Tony: New Guinea 1942-43 ~ Donald Nijboer

Also there is a thread for people to list what miniatures they own, this one could double as that but for peoples books or DVDs?

I realise some peoples collections will be quite extensive so maybe just your favourites, most rare, most expensive etc can be listed.

I just realised this thread belongs in general discussions, can I move it?

The best thing to do is ask Eric to move it Sam.
Have you looked in the book reviews section of the Hobby Room?

There is a new copy on amazon for $2,342.74.

I moved the thread to General.

I bought all three volumes when they were released (pre-order, actually). They must have printed a very limited run of each, since even a few months after release, the prices shot up.
