You should see the ones that were unsuitable to put up on the site Rich. It is incredible what some people get up to.

It's been awhile; lets get the thread back to "flying" cows.

    I have a true cow-tail to relate:

I live in SE Michigan, near Ann Arbor. I was driving home on M52 near Chelsea on a cold February morn, when I went past a dairy farm. As is usual, the farm's herd of cattle were outside, apparently dining al fresco.

You know how you can see your breath when it is cold out...?

You can also see cows fart...

They are quite gassy, it would seem. They can blow it out several feet at a time...and at a prodious rate. I swear it looked like a Civil War reenactment was going on.

One of the cows even blew a "smoke" ring.

I swear, I very nearly drove off the road, I was laughing so hard.

On a non-humorous note, the increase of cattle world-wide is considered to be a major source of the increase of greenhouse gasses, i.e. methane.
Back to a humorous note: Chelsea is the name of the "magic" cow in the Knights of the Dinner Table comic, about a group of fantasy roleplayers you play a ficticious (though later real) verion of D&D.

On a cold winter's morning, two friesian cows stand staring over a gate. One remarks, "I am glad the Mad Cow Disease scare is over. I'll bet you were scared!"
"Nah." says its companion, "I'm black and white and standing in snow, I'm a penguin!"

    What a fantastic link John.
