Well, that sucks. A lot of conventions are in a similar crappy financial state; doesn't make the loss of Wintercon any better. Hope it's only a temporary hiatus.
Most of the game conventions I attend have bounced back post covid. Sadly there are some that haven't. Hope next year they can put it on.
