    I visited Sir Peter Jackson’s Aviation Heritage Centre at Omaka, New Zealand a couple of weeks ago on a cruise tour. I was surprised at how small some of those planes were. If you look carefully at the front of the Nieuport plane you can see someone else looking at it. Tiny fragile things they were. A hero made every flight I reckon. I think a lot of those planes are flyable too.

    Very nice photos Gary. I'm jealous. I was in NZ 35 years ago so unfortunately before Jackson had his collection. Not sure I'll get the chance to get back.
